The next stop in my campaign to silence the kossel mini involves isolating the vibrations that started after I reinforced the frame. Inspired by the rubber grommets that hold a CD laser, I went looking and found these squashball feet that will achieve just that.

They do a great job of isolating the vibrations and after this upgrade, the only audible sound from the printer are the cooling fans which we’ll attend to at a later stage.
